Camp Mulberry 2021

Summers at Camp Mulberry are filled with fun, amazing friends, and loads of laughter.

Camp Mulberry is excited to offer four weeks of summer fun this year.

All of our camps offer plenty of outdoor time, a field trip to Belgatos Park, and everyone’s favorite, water play.

Our enthusiastic staff is deeply committed to providing campers with a meaningful and most memorable summer experience. We support our campers in a friendly environment, giving them ample opportunities to explore new adventures, form new and lasting friendships, and most importantly, relax and enjoy summer.

Do your kids love insects? Then they are in for a treat. Based on the movie with the same name, campers will explore the world of insects. Through fun crafts and experiments, we will learn about their life cycles, habitats, and much more.

7/26-7/30

Science is everywhere we look! This week, your campers will explore and investigate the captivating world of science. They will try out fascinating experiments, enjoy hands-on projects, and, of course, have fun with slime. Proper safety standards will be followed.

8/9-8/13

Our campers will take a close look and experience all kinds of amazing animals: desert animals, forest animals, jungle animals, farm animals, and pets! We will learn all about these animals’ habitats, how they communicate, and what we can do to help preserve their habitats and lives. Campers must be entering Mulberry Kindergarten in the fall.

3rd – 5th Grade

Summer Camp FAQ

We will follow the COVID-19 Guidance provided by the California Department of Public Health. You can find the most current version here. This guidance is subject to change.

We are very familiar with all COVID-19 health and safety requirements after keeping Mulberry School open for on-campus and in-person learning for the 2020/21 school year. We were one of the first schools in Santa Clara County to get approval for our waiver application to open our school in person.

Everyone’s health and safety are always our top priority.

All registration occurs through our online summer camp management system.

Please follow this link to start your registration.

Please contact Daniela Gunther at dgunther@mulberry.org. The deadline for cancellations without incurring a fee is May 31st. After May 31st, cancellations for a reserved camp will incur a $75 processing fee. A full refund of the registration fee will be given if notice of withdrawal is received at least 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the camp. Unfortunately, we will not be able to refund tuition after that.

Camp Mulberry reserves the right to cancel camp for any reason at any time and will refund the full registration fee.

Our camps are taught by Mulberry School faculty, staff, and Mulberry Alumni/Camp Alumni. Mulberry Staff and Faculty have been trained in Positive Discipline, emergency procedures, and basic first aid. Alumni camp leads are also trained in first aid and emergency procedures. We are proud that our alumni are excited to come back to work for our camps year after year. They are a cornerstone of our program and make it the special place that it is.

At Camp Mulberry, we like to get wet and dirty. We encourage all parents to send campers with a change of clothes and a towel because every camp provides opportunities to go outside and make a mess. We want our campers to enjoy all of the experiences offered.

Yes, we do. My Green Lunch provides healthy, organic, and sustainably sourced hot lunch. Their website is: mygreenlunch.com.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer Before or After Camp Care this year.

We have had several students with severe nut allergies enrolled in our school and camps. Mulberry takes these allergies very seriously and we, therefore, do all we can to discourage nuts of any kind on our campus. We encourage parents to find alternatives for their children’s lunches that exclude nuts or nut products.

All campers are asked to bring their own water to camp and are encouraged to drink throughout the day. All camps have air-conditioned indoor areas and outdoor areas covered by sun sails and/or tents. Leads evaluate outdoor conditions each day and modify plans to fit with what works best for daily heat and air quality. Parents may provide their own sunscreen (in a zip lock bag with the child’s name) that counselors will help apply to our youngest campers. Older children will be reminded to periodically apply sunscreen throughout the day.

Mulberry staff does not supply any sunscreen. Please drop it off with your camper on the first day of camp.
