Our Campus Is Closed For The Remainder Of The School Year:
Dear Mulberry Community,
As many of you know, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond, announced that “…it currently appears that our students will not be able to return to school campuses before the end of the school year.” In response, local school districts, including Union School District (USD), have announced that campuses will stay closed for the remainder of the school year.
Based on the new County Shelter-in-Place Order from March 31, 2020, we had already taken steps to close off access to our playground and basketball court. With the announcement of school closures for the rest of the school year, USD has now started locking down our campus.
Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that we are letting you know that Mulberry’s campus will stay closed for the remainder of our school year.
While it is disheartening for all of us, please know that we are working diligently and creatively together to bring the Magic of Mulberry to your homes. There are favorite community events coming up this spring, and into our last days of the school year, and we look forward to discovering alternative ways of celebrating these events together.
